Sextner Almkäse

Sextner Almkäse ist ein Schnittkäse aus Kuhmilch, der in der Autonomen Provinz Bozen (Provincia autonoma di Bolzano) in Südtirol in Italien hergestellt wird. Seinen Namen hat der Sextner Almkäse von der Gemeinde Sexten (ital. Sesto) bei den Drei Zinnen, wo er von der Käsereigenossenschaft Sexten Gen.m.b.H., einem Zusammenschluss von etwa 60 Bauern der Region, hergestellt wird.
